Aaron’s story is why this exists. Be The One is what we’re building because of it.
The Aaron Rogers Foundation exists to continue Aaron’s dream of creating a kinder, more connected world. His life inspires our commitment to belonging, mental-health awareness, suicide prevention, and more connected support for young people.
Our Flagship Initiative: Be The One Project
Connection and prevention are at the heart of Be The One. We want people to feel seen before crisis, supported without losing their voice, and connected rather than lost between systems.
Independence should not require isolation.
Room to Grow, Rooted in Aaron
Our developing framework brings several related ideas under the Foundation. These descriptions explain our direction; they are not a list of currently available services or launched pilots.
Be The One Project
Connection, belonging, prevention, and everyday acts of kindness.
Support Without Taking Over
A proposed supported-autonomy model for transition-age young people, centered on their choices and trusted support.
Be The One Lab
A proposed home for translating research into practical tools, pilot concepts, and questions we can evaluate.
No Lost Handoffs
A developing focus on continuity of care and meaningful connections between providers and systems.
Crisis, Not Criminal
A longer-term focus on mental health and justice, including recognition of psychiatric crisis and stronger continuity of treatment.
Carry the Reminder
Butterfly. The 1. Be The One.
Our vision for mission merchandise is more than an object to buy. It is a reminder to notice, listen, and connect. A keychain can carry a message and start a conversation.
As the work develops, we want mission merchandise to help support prevention, education, advocacy, and the development of practical programs. Financial reporting should make clear how sales revenue, expenses, and program spending relate to that work.
What We’re Building: Transparency and Impact
We want people to be able to watch this work grow, including the small beginnings. Our reporting should distinguish plans from activity, activity from outcomes, and funds raised from funds spent.
We plan to track and share:
- Research reviewed.
- Organizations contacted.
- Confirmed pilot partners.
- Resources distributed.
- Advocacy meetings.
- Participating schools.
- Young adults reached.
- Funds raised.
- Funds spent on programs.
Verified figures are not published on this page yet. Missing figures should not be interpreted as zero. Future updates should identify the reporting period, how each measure is counted, and what remains in development.
We will not treat a contact as a partner, a proposal as a launched program, or participation as proof of improved outcomes.
Everything traces back to Aaron. The purpose is to turn that love into work that can help others.
